During difficult and uncertain times, it is good to have something constructive to work on. For me, painting allows me to be constructive and creative. At the same time, it is a very meditative and calming process. I can paint worlds as I envision them. The great thing about paint is that alterations can be painted in or out very easily. Another great thing about painting is that it doesn't have to be perfect, especially not in the beginning; just getting an idea on canvas is important. It may be that the initial brushstroke of paint may say all that is needed and it may remain on the canvas as painted without alteration.
