Calibrating and recalibrating work schedules can make it difficult to stay on mark. During these difficult times, it is important for me to continue to show up at the canvas. Who knows what may happen? Tonight, I am returning to the forest with a mixture of Yellow Ochre and French Ultramarine Blue. I will be filling in the highlights of the trees in the lower section of the canvas. One of the great things about painting for me is that I can build up a section on the canvas, live with it for while, and if I decide it is not working, I can paint over it or make it into something new.
