While finishing up the "Inglorious Chorus" painting, this is a good time for me to prepare another canvas for a new painting. This will be a landscape orientation painting that is currently untitled. I am sanding the canvas with medium grit sandpaper on the 30" X 40" canvas that comes with two coats of gesso. Over the next 5 days I will apply gesso and sand after drying for 24 hours. With each successive coat of gesso and sanding the surface becomes more smooth.
