Making art is the one time in life that I get to play God. I choose the setting, make up the colors, and bring in characters to tell a story. This is a little world that I build up from darkness to light. If the composition is not working I can paint it out and start over. This is an escape that allows me to reflect on my life experiences through value, color, and shape.
