Today, I am continuing to layer the the oil painting, "Inglorious Chorus." Starting near the edges of the canvas and working toward the center, my intent is fill the canvas with paint. I try not to paint over the yellow points of reference that shows the car lights and perspective of the city street near the Schermerhorn Building in downtown Nashville. There is a musical theme to the painting, but the work is more about the rainy environment as it obscures and consumes the the surrounding architecture.
