After finishing a few house painting projects, it is good idea to return to creative painting. Today, I am applying coats of grey gesso to a 20" diameter canvas and a 16" X 12" canvas. Five coats will be applied, allowing 24 hours to dry and sand in between each coating. My plan is paint a bird's eye view of the heart of downtown Nashville on the round canvas and a fall scene of Shelby Street on the rectangular canvas.
